Description

Flavel is a house located on Warton Lane, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond brick, featuring a string course and a moulded brick cornice. The plain-tile roof has gable parapets with kneelers and brick external end stacks. The house has a central staircase plan and is two storeys high, with a symmetrical front that includes a five-window range. The entrance features a fielded six-panelled door set within a 20th-century open-fronted porch. The windows are nine-pane sashes with painted reveals and cambered arches. Inside, there is a dogleg staircase with stick balusters.
