Description
The Limes is a house dating from the 18th century, with some minor alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick and features 19th and 20th century pebbledash, a rendered string course, and a brick dentil cornice. The roof is a plain tile from the late 20th century, with brick ridge and right end stacks. The building has an L-plan layout with a wing extending to the left at the rear and consists of two storeys with a three-window range.
A part-glazed six-panelled door is located between the second and third bays, framed by a rendered alternating rusticated surround and a blind keyed round arch. The windows include casements with two lights in the third bay, featuring glazing bars and rendered segmental arches with keyblocks. The lower second floor has cross-glazed casements that do not have arches. Inside, the room to the left has an open fireplace with a plastered bressumer, while the room in the wing has a moulded ceiling beam and an open fireplace with a rough cambered bressumer.
