Description

The village cross in Austrey is a notable structure with a medieval base and steps, dating back to the 19th century. The octagonal base is made of sandstone and is accompanied by five steps. Atop this base is a limestone Celtic cross, which was added in 1897. This cross is recognized for its historical significance in the area.
