Description
103 and 104 Lichfield Street are two houses that have been converted into shops and a restaurant. They were built in the early 19th century and are constructed from brick with a slate roof and brick end stacks. The buildings are designed in a Georgian style and are arranged in a U-plan. They rise to three storeys and feature a four-window range. At the top, there is a brick cornice with modillions. The ground floor has 20th-century shop fronts on either side of a carriage entrance, which has rusticated jambs and an elliptical arch. The windows have rubbed flat arches; the first-floor windows are fitted with 12-pane horned sashes, while the second-floor windows have 6-pane horned sashes. At the rear, there is an outshut beneath a catslide roof and gabled wings. The interior has not been inspected.
