Description
No. 22 Lichfield Street is a house that has been converted into a club, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a tiled roof with brick end stacks, showcasing a Georgian style. The building stands three storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. There are sill bands at the ground and first floors, along with a cornice at the top.
The round-headed entrance includes a doorcase with pilasters and an open pediment, with a fanlight above a six-panel door. The ground floor features Venetian windows with simple details and 12-pane sashes, while the first floor has windows with rusticated wedge lintels over 12-pane sashes. The second floor has windows with sills and pivoted six-pane casements. At the rear, there is a three-span gable with blind central round-headed windows and 20th-century single-storey additions. The interior has not been inspected.
