Description
Number 14 is a house that has been converted into a shop and offices, dating from around 1800 with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features a slate roof with brick end stacks. It has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a symmetrical three-window arrangement. At the top, there is a modillioned brick cornice. The ground floor has a 20th-century projecting shop front that spans the entire width of the building. The windows have sills and are topped with rubbed brick flat arches over 16-pane sash windows, although some glazing bars are missing. The second floor features 8-pane sashes. At the rear, there are two gabled wings, which include a mid-19th century workshop. This wing is L-shaped and has segmental arches over small-paned iron casements, extending to the rear of the grounds towards Number 15.
