Description

This sundial, located approximately 20 meters south of the entrance front to Caverswall Castle, is likely from around 1890. It is made of red sandstone and stands about 1200 millimeters high, featuring a baluster style with a banded capital. The top and dial have been replaced. The sundial is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby castle.
