Description

The garden walls located approximately 50 meters south-west of Ashcombe Park are a large walled garden built in 1808. They are constructed of red brick with stone copings. The walls measure about 120 meters in length and stand 3 meters high, featuring ramped and radiused corners, with buttresses on the outer sides. The entrance is situated at the north-east corner. In the center of the north-east wall, there is an elliptical stone plaque inscribed with the date "Erected Anno Domini MDCCCVIII".
