Description
This is a barn located approximately 3 meters to the north of Wolfdale Farmhouse, built in the mid-19th century with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a blue machine tile roof with verge parapets. The barn has an 'L'-shaped plan and consists of two levels of hay lofts above the byres. The front faces the road and includes a blind projecting gable on the left side, with a single bottom-hung casement window on the right-hand return. The set-back wing has two window openings at the ends of the lower level, although the frames have been removed. There are blocked vents in the upper level and two doors on the north side. This barn is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
