Description
This building is a barn and shippon located approximately 15 meters southeast of Palace Farmhouse. It dates from the mid-19th century but retains some fragments of 18th-century masonry. The structure is made of coursed stone and features a blue machine tile roof with verge parapets.
The barn has a two-level design with a front that includes four hay-loft doors. There are five casement windows on the ground floor, along with a flat mullioned two-light window at the right-hand end. A boarded door is situated to the right of center, and there are boarded hay loft openings at the upper level. Additionally, there is a 20th-century lean-to on the left-hand end.
