Description

Harris Close is a farmhouse dated 1842, constructed of coursed stone with a blue machine tile roof and verge parapets. The building has a two-room deep plan and features brick end stacks. It is two storeys high with a two-window front and a central entrance. The four-pane windows and doorway are surrounded by raised chamfered quoin surrounds. The doorway has a boarded door and a corbelled hood, with an inscribed painted datestone above that reads "AD 1842" within a circular motif.
