Description

The former railway station house, dated 1848, is constructed of ashlar. It has a cruciform plan with a later lean-to addition to the South side. The building is two storeys high, featuring sash windows, shaped Dutch gables with finials to each wing, tall brick and stone stacks, and a mechanical tile roof.
