Description
Pool Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse located on the north side of Bognor Road in Essington. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and features brick end stacks. The building has a two-cell through-passage plan and a later crosswing to the west. It stands two storeys tall with an attic and has a first-floor band. There are two windows with 20th-century casements and gabled attic dormers. The porch is roughly central and gabled, with a doorway that has a flat brick arch. To the left, there is a two-storey gabled wing. Inside, the farmhouse has timber-framed partition walls and ceiling beams that are chamfered and stopped.
