Description

The structure known as the limekiln at Dawford Brook is a disused building from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features an earth-covered flat roof. The limekiln has a circular plan, with its base situated below ground level and approximately 4 meters above ground. It includes an arched opening for the entrance shute at the base level, as well as a tall round arched entrance located at ground level, positioned 90 degrees from the shute.
