Description
Grange Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with later re-facing and a large addition dated 1730, as indicated by a plaque above the central first-floor window. The building is timber framed with red brick re-facing and a red brick addition, topped with an old plain tile roof. It has an L-shaped plan with two framed bays to the right at the rear and stands two and a half storeys high. Features include a stone plinth, plat bands above the ground and first floors, a dentil brick eaves cornice, and three gabled eaves dormers with two-light casements. The farmhouse has three bays with sash windows that have gauged heads and glazing bars on the first floor. The central entrance is a 20th-century door with a three-light rectangular overlight.
