Description
Court Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with early 19th-century changes including re-fenestration and an addition. It is constructed of red brick with an ashlar plinth and dressings, topped with an old tile roof. The building has a basement and three storeys.
The southwest front features a plinth, raised quoins, and a string course at the ground floor lintel level, along with end stacks. It has two bays with glazing bar sash windows that have rendered lintels, and there are two stone mullioned windows in the basement. The left gable end also has two bays.
To the right, there is an early 19th-century addition that is two storeys high and one bay wide, set back from the main structure. This addition is made of red brick with an old tile roof, a string course, and an end stack to the right. It includes glazing bar sash windows with rendered cills, and the entrance is located at the right-hand end.
