Description

No. 85 High Street is a commercial building dating from around 1790. It is constructed of brick and has a plain tiled roof. The building stands three storeys high and features a two-window range. The ground floor has an inserted shop front with outer doors on either side of the windows. Above, there are two-pane sash windows that have flat-arched gauged brick heads. A pediment runs across the entire facade, topped with a modillion cornice and an oculus. The building also has gable end stacks.
