Description
This is a house that was rebuilt in the early to mid-18th century, originally a late 16th or 17th-century structure. It is constructed of red brick with blue headers in a Flemish garden wall bond, replacing earlier timber framing. The roof is covered with plain tiles and features a brick ridge stack. The layout is a two-cell baffle-entry plan, with one storey and an attic. The front has two windows, with casements that have segmental heads. There is a larger tripartite casement on the ground floor to the right, which has a fluted architrave, and gable attic dormers. The central entrance is a 19th-century four-panel door topped with a bracketed pediment hood. At the rear, there are fragments of 16th or 17th-century timber framing.
