Description
Mill Bank Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse situated on the south side of Stockings Lane in Longdon. The building is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a plain tile roof featuring raised verges. It has a brick ridge stack and an integral end stack. The front of the farmhouse is set on a sandstone plinth and has a dentilled eaves band. It is two storeys tall with a gable-lit attic. The front has five windows; these are glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads and raised keystones. A central first-floor window is blind. There are attic dormers to the right and centre, with glazing bar casements and hipped roofs. A central 20th-century door is sheltered by an early 19th-century Tuscan portico. The interior has not been inspected.
