Description
Mill House is a watermill and mill house dating from the 18th century, now functioning as a house. It is constructed of red brick, with the mill section painted, and features a plain tile roof and brick integral end stacks. The house is located to the right, while the mill is attached to the left.
The house has three storeys and a dentilled eaves band. Its front has three windows, which are casements with segmental heads. There is a central 20th-century gabled porch with glazed doors.
The mill section has two storeys and also features a dentilled eaves band. The left side of the mill is partly obscured by later extensions. There is a lean-to projection to the right of the centre that houses the mill wheel, flanked by fixed-light glazing bar windows. The first floor has casements with semi-circular heads, but no milling machinery remains inside.
