Description
Nos. 22 and 24, also known as Brook House, are a pair of houses located on Brook End in Longdon. The building consists of an early 19th century house at number 24 and a late 19th century extension at number 22, both designed in a similar style. The houses are constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof, featuring brick integral end stacks and a ridge stack. They are two storeys high with a gable-lit attic, and have a dentilled eaves band. The front facade includes four windows, which are 16-pane glazing bar sashes with keyed lintels that are grooved to resemble voussoirs. To the left of number 24, there is a pilastered stone porch, and to the right, a six-panel door with a rectangular overlight.
