Description
No. 17 Greenhill is a house dating from the 18th century, with some earlier timber framing and 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of brick and has a tiled roof, featuring a right angle plan. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a two-window range. The gable is adorned with a modillioned pediment. To the left, there is a segmental-headed entrance that includes a battened door. The segmental-headed windows have a blue brick band; the ground floor window is large and currently boarded (as of 1990), while the first floor has windows with 6-pane casements, and a similar window is present in the attic. The left side of the building features two brick platt bands and boarded segmental-headed windows, with two on the ground floor and one on the first floor to the left. The rear of the house is similar in appearance.
