Description
This is a milepost dating from the mid to late 19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular section with a chamfered top. The top face is inscribed with "HASELOUR". The left side displays the distances to various locations: "HARLASTON 1 / CLIFTON 3½ / MEASHAM 9½ / ASHBY 13". The right side shows the distances to "ALREWAS 5½ / LICHFIELD 7½ / BURTON 12¼".
