Description
This is a footbridge over the Trent and Mersey Canal, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with stone half-round coping. The bridge features concave faces with parapets that slope down to the ground and has a segmental arch spanning the canal. The Trent and Mersey Canal itself was opened around 1777.
