Description

This is a hay barn located approximately 150 yards northwest of Barrowhill, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has a plain tile roof. The barn is single-storey with four open-fronted bays; however, the lower half of the right-hand bay is blocked and features an inserted door to the left. The west gable includes patterned air vents and a pitching hatch. There is a detached wall and cartshed to the west that may have once been connected to the hay barn, but these are not included in the listing.
