Description
The coach house and stables, dating from the early to mid 19th century, are located approximately 10 yards north-west of Leafields Farmhouse. Constructed from red brick with a slate roof, the building stands two storeys high and features a first-floor band. It consists of about four bays, with a segmental headed coach entrance to the right of the centre, which has a two-leaf door. To the left of the centre, there are segmental headed stable doors and a small segmental headed window. Additionally, there are two first-floor casement windows in the centre. The left end of the building is partially obscured by an open fronted coach house or cart shed extension. Attached to the north-east corner is a three-yard length of wall and a gate pier. This structure is part of a well-preserved group of buildings associated with Leafields Farmhouse.
