This is a 17th-century cottage, with later alterations, located on the north side of Main Street in Barton-under-Needwood. The building is constructed of timber frame and brick, with a tiled roof and brick stacks. It is two storeys high and has four casement windows. Two gabled dormers are present, and the eaves are plain.
