Description

This is a 17th-century house, with alterations made later. It is built with a timber frame and brick, and has a tiled roof and brick stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three casement windows. A plain doorway was added later. The eaves are corbelled, and exposed timber framing is visible on the west side. The building incorporates a small 16th-century former dwelling and shop, with a 19th-century shop front, originally located at 51 Main Road, on its north side.
