Description

No. 78 on Main Street is a detached house dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped tile roof with large square brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, arranged in five bays. It includes sash windows and a moulded wood doorcase with a cornice. There is a brick eaves cornice and three gabled dormers on the west side. Inside, the house has a turned baluster staircase, dado panelling in the room to the east, and an Adam style fireplace in the room to the left of the entrance.
