Description

A pair of cottages located on Main Street in Barton-under-Needwood, dating to the late 17th century but significantly altered and renovated since. The construction is timber frame with brick detailing, and the roof is covered in modern tiles. The cottages are two storeys high, with three renewed casement windows. The eaves are toothed, and a gable end, visible at the rear of the adjacent property number 14, showcases exposed timber framing. The interior has been extensively altered, though original exposed timber framing and a framed partition in the living room remain.
