Former Agricultural Buildings Approximately 20 Yards North East Of Lower House

These are former agricultural buildings, likely from the 18th century, with later alterations. They are constructed of red brick and feature plain tile roofs. The buildings have a roughly L-shaped plan, with an early range to the northeast aligned northeast-southwest and an extension to the southwest also aligned northeast-southwest, facing southeast. A granary extension projects from the southeast face of the early range, aligned northwest-southeast. The structures are single-storey. The gabled granary extension has tallet steps leading to a loft door, which projects from the right side of the early two-roof bay range, featuring stone-coped verges. To the left is a low three-bay former cowhouse with 20th-century metal garage doors. The return wall of the granary extension has a segmental-headed door to the left and a 20th-century casement window to the right. Inside, the roof trusses consist of a tie beam, principal rafters, and V-struts, with two pairs of purlins and a ridge piece, all members being jointed and pegged. These buildings are included for their group value.
