Description
The gate piers and courtyard walls to the east of Wootton Lodge are 17th-century structures made of ashlar. They enclose the north, south, and east sides of the courtyard, with a gateway located in the center of the east wall. The east wall features two square-section gate piers topped with ball finials, flanked by coped dwarf walls that ramp down from each pier. The north and south walls stand approximately 6 feet high and have moulded coping.
