Description

No. 31 High Street is an early to mid-19th century painted brick house with a tiled roof featuring gabled ends. The building stands three storeys tall, with four windows on the second floor and three windows on the first floor. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and key-blocked lintels. On the first floor, there are two tripartite sashes and one blocked window. The ground floor has plate glass inserted to create shop windows, along with a central doorway that has a pilastered doorcase and a modern glazed door. This property is included for its group value.
