Description

The stable at Poynton Manor dates from around the 15th century and features a gabled west wall that was originally part of a chapel. This wall is constructed of ashlar and includes a three-light perpendicular traceried window. The stable now forms the west wall of an 18th-century timber-framed farm building, which has red brick infill panels and a tiled roof with gabled ends. Additionally, the north wall is partly made of sandstone.
