Description
Poynton Manor House is a timber-framed house dating from around the 16th century, featuring a plastered east elevation. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The south side has two gables, each with a jettied first floor and attics, supported by moulded bressumers and brackets. The house is two storeys high with attics and has various casement windows. A central brick chimney stack is present, along with a 19th-century brick extension to the north.
