Description
Ercall Mill and Mill House is a late 18th century water mill and adjoining mill house located in Ercall Magna. The building is constructed of whitewashed brick and features slate and tiled roofs with gabled ends and brick dentil eaves. The mill stands three storeys tall, with segmental-headed windows on each level and doors on the ground and first floors. There is a gabled water wheel housing on the south-west side. The contemporary mill house adjoins the mill at right angles, also three storeys high, with one window range, casement windows, and a modern porch in the angle. To the north-east, there is a 19th century two-storey addition with one window. The mill no longer contains any machinery.
