Description

The garden boundary wall, gate, and gate piers at the Almshouses in High Ercall date from the late 17th century and are constructed of red brick with half-round brick coping. The east side of the wall has undergone significant repairs and features buttressing. Centrally located at the front are a pair of 19th-century gate piers topped with stone pyramidal caps and gabled buttresses, along with a wrought-iron gate.
