Description

The outbuilding located to the north-west of Sunnyside is a 17th-century timber-framed structure that was once used as a slaughterhouse. It features red brick nogging and is partly boarded at the front, standing on a sandstone plinth. The building has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. It consists of only two bays and may have originally been part of a larger building; one of the bays is constructed of 19th-century brick. Inside, there is a central cruck truss of the base cruck type.
