Description

This is an 18th-century red brick manor house. It has a plain tile roof with brick stepped gable ends and a moulded eaves cornice. The main house is two storeys and has an attic, with three bays. The first floor has sash windows without glazing bars in segmental arched openings. There are three later gabled dormers at the eaves, each with a panelled apron below. The ground floor features large, late 19th-century canted bays on the left and right sides, with a canopy extending over the central doorway, which has a moulded architrave and pediment. A red brick wing, also from the 18th century, extends to the rear (north) with two storeys and an attic, a four-window range, and sash windows with glazing bars in segmental arched openings. Later additions have been made to the rear of the property.
