Description

This late 18th century dovecote is located approximately 150 yards north-north-west of Longford Hall. It is constructed from red brick and has an octagonal shape, sitting on a sandstone plinth. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, featuring an ogee-capped cupola. The eaves are adorned with brick dentils, and there are circular flight holes on the sides, although some of these are blind.
