Description
The Church of St Mary was built between 1802 and 1806. It is a small Gothic church made of sandstone ashlar. The nave features battlements and a cornice that extends around the west tower and the polygonal chancel apse, which also has battlements and a pointed arch east window. The west tower is small and has battlements and pinnacles, with lancet bell openings and a pointed arch west doorway that has a lancet window above it. The nave has wide lancet windows on both the north and south sides. The interior is plain and of little interest, but it includes a large octagonal font on a modern stem.
