Description
This is a disused dovecote located approximately 90 meters south-east of Rorrington Hall, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of pinkish red brick, featuring a mixture of English Garden Wall and Flemish bonds, and sits on a rubblestone plinth. The dovecote has a square plan and is topped with a machine tile pyramidal roof that includes a wooden louvre. There is a segmental-headed doorway on the north side, with a rectangular opening above it, and rectangular openings on the other three sides. Inside, there are pigeon nesting holes, ledges, and a loft. This structure is included for its group value.
