Description

Nos 139 and 142 on Salthouse Road are early 18th century painted brick houses. They feature a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends and stand two storeys high. The front has four windows with old three-light casements, and the ground floor windows are topped with segmental brick arches. To the right of the centre, there is a plank door that has a single hood supported by brackets. The houses have a brick end stack and a large brick stack, along with gabled wings at the rear.
