Description

38 Whitchurch Road is an early 19th-century lodge that was formerly the gate lodge to Apley Castle. The building is finished in stucco and features a low-pitched hipped slate roof. It is a single storey structure with three bays, where the central bay is slightly advanced and topped with a pediment. This central section includes a Tuscan porch and a glazed door with panelled reveals. On either side of the central bay are sash windows with glazing bars. A central rendered chimney stack is also present.
