Description

The Park Hotel is a building dating from around the 17th century. It is likely timber-framed but is now covered in roughcast. The hotel features a steeply pitched roof made of concrete tiles with gabled ends. It has one storey and an attic, with a 17th-century timber-framed gabled dormer supported by shaped brackets. On the ground floor, there is a panelled door on the left side, which is sheltered by a Victorian wooden porch that has pierced bargeboards. To the right of the door, there is a three-light casement window, and in the centre, there is a large modern bay window. The building has brick chimney stacks at each end.

Inside, the hotel features stopped chamfer ceiling beams. There is an extension to the left side (north) of the building that was added in the early 19th century; this extension is two storeys high and has one window, and it is also roughcast. At the southern end, there is a modern single-storey addition.
