Description
Stockton Lodge, part of Apley Park, was built around 1812. It is a two-storey structure made of stucco. The central feature is a porte cochere with a flat pointed arched head, a hood mould, and a pair of wrought-iron gates. On either side of the main entrance, there are lodges with advanced outer wings. The building has four sash windows in total, each with hood moulds. The sides of the lodge have plain parapets, while the centre is topped with battlements and a moulded cornice runs along the top. There are modern additions on the sides of the east facade.
