Description

This is a circa mid-19th century brick range situated at right angles to Buildwas Road, in Coalbrookdale. The two-storey building has two round-headed iron casements with glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor features three cambered-head wooden casements and two plain doors. A distinctive feature is the roof, which is covered in Benthall tiles arranged in diamond, lozenge, and fishscaling patterns, and coloured red, yellow, and green. The building is also characterised by tall brick chimney stacks.
