Description

Brook House is a late 18th century and early 19th century red brick house located at right angles to Darby Road in Coalbrookdale. It features a plain tile hipped roof and a moulded brick dentil eaves course. The house is three storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, although the second floor glazing bars are missing. The windows have rusticated lintels with keyblocks and coved soffits. The left-hand side has a pilastered doorcase with a reeded frieze, a hood, and a glazed door. There are brick chimney stacks at either end of the house. At the rear, there are 18th century gabled wings.
