Description

Paradise Villa, also known as The Villa, is a large house built in the mid to late 19th century in a Gothic style. The house is constructed of pale buff-coloured brick with dressings of blue and red brick. It has two storeys, an attic, and a basement. A gabled wing projects on the right-hand side, featuring brick buttresses on either side and a tiered, angular bay. Windows are generally casement style with pointed arches, and there are bands of red and blue brick detailing. A small gable is centrally positioned, containing a trefoiled opening. A tiered pentice porch bay features an arched doorway and steps leading upwards, all beneath a tile roof. A two-storey wing is located on the left-hand side.
