Description

No. 45 Muxton Lane is probably an early to mid 16th century small timber-framed house, which may be the remaining crosswing of a larger structure. It features painted brick infill panels and has a plain tile roof with gabled ends. The first floor juts out on its long side, supported by a moulded bressumer. The building has two storeys and various small casement windows. There is a single-storey wing from around the 19th century and brick chimney stacks. Recently, wall paintings have been revealed in the interior.
